The space
Built in the 1930s and later extended and carefully renovated, Le Galet Gris** blends character and comfort, with part of the house clad in natural wood.
Its exceptional location allows guests to fully enjoy the changing tides and stunning sunsets.
In front of the house, across a newly landscaped boulevard, a garden set within the sand dunes overlooks the beach. At the rear, a fully enclosed garden provides a safe and pleasant outdoor space for dining and relaxation.
The house is spread over three levels.
On the ground floor, a spacious 92 m² living area with large bay windows offers panoramic sea views. It includes a fully equipped high-end kitchen, a dining room with fireplace, and a comfortable lounge with high-fidelity audio and video equipment. One bedroom (140x200), a shower room with toilet, and separate toilets complete this level.
On the first floor, a master suite with a 160x200 bed, bathroom, and large dressing room enjoys stunning views as far as Jersey. Another 160x200 bedroom with direct sea views and a large bathroom with bathtub, walk-in shower, double sink, and toilet complete the floor.
On the second floor, two bedrooms with 140x200 beds and sea views, a children’s bedroom with wooden bunk beds, and a bright reading and games lounge provide additional space.
A garage, pool table, and ping-pong table complete the amenities.

The neighborhood
Barneville-Carteret is a seaside resort in Cotentin, certified as family-friendly.
Close to the D-Day beaches, this resort is perfect for enjoying a wide range of sports, either alone or with the family, but also for relaxing in the small cove at Potinière beach in Carteret or enjoying one of the many excellent restaurants in the resort.
Barneville also has a large beach. You will also find a skate park and many shops (butchers, bakeries, hairdressers, Carrefour, Utile, DIY, etc.).
As for Hatainville beach, a few kilometres away, it offers one of the largest dune massifs in Europe.
